Buffalopilot, what you did really hurt the industry. When airlines have pilots trained on their dime and then you leave after a few months, that hurts the rest of us.
There is a reason Doug founded this website, to keep pilots informed. You knew going in that the first year sucks and regional airlines aren't that great. There's training, reserve, commuting, etc. You chose to apply at Comair and then commute. Of course commuting sucks. Have you heard one pilot here that likes commuting.
You just hurt the profession and gave management one more reason to offer crappy pay and treat pilots the way they do.
Man up. You signed on for the job so you could have at least stuck it out for a year.
