NIFA

I'm sad....

...this fall's regional competition is the first one since 2003 that my alma mater will be at without me (I competed 2004-2008 and coached 2008-this spring). I really miss doing NIFA. MAYBE I'll make nationals? I doubt it though.
 
I was a member of the SJSU team for 2 years and I have been a coach for 5 years now. Unfortunately SJSU's team can't pick up the flying tab, but we tend to do well, have a great time, and look damn good too ;)

The only thing I regret about flight team is that I didn't join sooner.

I think it's the savage storm or some such crap now. I'm not sure though, i don't get to campus all that much.

hows everyone doing in their Regions so far? We missed nationals by only 15 points, but i took first place in spot landing and second place in the SCAN test. Hope everyone on here is doing well.
 
I like me some SCAN...I love that event. Congrats on your success. Wish your team the best of luck for next year.
 
If it is free then go for it. The student has to cover the cost at our school. It was way too overpriced for what you get and to me it was a bit of a silly contest. Seemed like our regional was a bit "rigged" in the past when I observed it.
