Anyone using the Nexus 7 in the cockpit? How does it handle Foreflight?
How does it handle Foreflight?
I've played around with Avilution on a Nexus 10. Works pretty well minus the GPS not holding up at the speeds the jet goes. A bluetooth GPS fixes that problem. The only issue is the approach plates are NOS (used to Jepps now) and not geo referenced.
Interesting...have you tried an ipad that has a built in gps, and does it keep up with the speed of the jet without needing an external gps?
Jepp has an app for android now FYI.I've played around with Avilution on a Nexus 10. Works pretty well minus the GPS not holding up at the speeds the jet goes. A bluetooth GPS fixes that problem. The only issue is the approach plates are NOS (used to Jepps now) and not geo referenced.
