'Not a new member'
Well from what I can gather most of you do like flying (duh) but it seems most pilot jobs your only flying maybe 20% of the time or less? So I guess you only have 20% job satisfaction?
I don't know how I'll be, I'm sure the novelty wears out after a while but then again I probably enjoy things that most others don't. For example I like my part time job as a delivery driver, sure the pay is crap but the people I work with are fun, I get to meet lots of new people and I basicly get paid to drive around in my car listening to CDs all night.
I've spoken to a Southwest pilot and he loves it there, sounds appealing but I don't know if I'd want to be limited to flying 737s and domestic routes all my life. But then do you put up with a less worker friendly airline just so you can fly international routes on the 767? I dunno...
But in general I'm a pretty easy going person, stuff that pisses other people off usally doesn't bother me, so maybe I'd be fine.
