That's actually a good thing. You're being forced to make go/no go decisions based on what you are flying and the current conditions. That's something all pilots should have a lot of experience with. If there was some superplane that could fly in a tornado, I guess the go/no go decision would not be important, but learning in small planes with limited capability will serve you well in the future.
