Congratualtions on your success!

-Cant remember the exact name, are you referring to the big room B-2xx (something?)

-Most call it TK or FTC

Lots of Envoy pilots are at United which is nice to see. Lots of those guys including my mentor are at AA.
No, no… walk through the main entrance. Face the princess staircase. Walk right past them on either side of the stairs. Same floor.

Absolutely!
Are you on the United Half-Winger Facebook group? That’s the place you want to be as a CJO-holder.
Thanks Mike. I do not have Facebook for privacy reasons and so that big tech can not track me more than they are already trying to do.

How are things there at United? I am impressed with the caliber of their jets

Can’t complain!

And really? What impresses you about them?

Your troll game is weak, you were off to a good start but you're over extending now.

Pull it back back a bit and go for the long game.
If you really think I’m not being serious, then I feel sorry for you. I have much better things to do with my time.
but if you all would prefer I do not participate in this forum for discussion, then I will leave.

I like the fleet Mike. They talked a lot about all the new orders as part of “United Next”. 500 or more orders or something like that.

I flew on a couple of Max’s with the nice Bluetooth in the seat back tv’s. Overall a good experience.

I still am pinching myself to have the opportunity to fly at United. Definitely didn’t see it happening until I was in the interview.

Well great! Welcome aboard!

When you class up let me know. They publish the new hire list weekly and as you know, the 8-ball ceremony is the first week. If I’m in Denver I’ll swing by and buy you a free beer.

Word of advice though… when you class up leave the military bravado at home. No one wants to hear it - just study, listen, and learn.

Also, most of the people replying in this thread are major airline pilots… no need to talk about “golden tickets” or how great your life is. They are all off of first year pay.;)

Best of luck and see you in Denver!

Thanks for the kind words. As soon as I hear back for the CJO I will let you know when they want me to start. Didn’t think things would take this long

You mean class date right? Don’t you already have a CJO?
I thought CJO and class date were interchangeable? I haven’t gotten an emails from them telling me when I will be starting class. Based on how the interview went and how impressed the interviewers were with me, it seemed like a sure thing.

I guess the next thing is waiting for the email when they give me the good news on when I will go to training right?

I just admit that the process at Envoy was way simpler. they called me on my personal phone and told me when to stop by and did the interview and got job same day. They even told me when to expect to start and called me when it was finalized. It seems United does not do this.

What does CJO stand for?

If you interviewed at United, they would have made the next steps very clear. If you get a phone call and an email within a week, it’s probably good news. More than a week, you didn’t get it. They would have made this very, very clear during the interview.
