He doesn't have a CJO. Or he's confusing CJO with class date, and doesn't have a class date.

Either case, not a good look.

No, you're not "working at a major airline right now." You will only when you show up on day 1 of class and get assigned a seniority number.

Yeah, United is pretty unprofessional and disorganized. I would go to Envoy. And they make more money at Envoy than Delta and United. Why on earth would you go to United? You trying to take a step back in your career?

No special forces, delta force, ranger, navy seal that I know would make such a fumbled idiotic career decision…

Actually, I just learned things have changed since I was hired. CJOs are given by email the day after the interview now.

Wow this is news to me. I may have been confused with what I heard in interview. I am coming up on 3 weeks without hearing back on a CJO/Class Date.

Like I said, I figured I had a 100% good offer based on how well the interview went. The interview team could hear enough about achievments as a Marine but also asked a lot about my corporate experience (I was a step below the c-suite of a midsize firm before quitting to fly at Envoy!)

I am not exaggerating when I tell you guys that the HR person's eyes were sparkling as I spoke. It really seemed like a home run.

Mike, see my response I just made. I am coming up on 3 weeks. Is this a bad sign? How could they not give me the offer right then and there or the next day if that's what you heard?

Sorry man, just give it up. I’m not sure why it’s fun to come on a forum and pretend to be someone else, but you definitely did not interview with United. You are lying and you’ve been caught doing it.

Meh, let the new guy just play it out. There is no downside to assuming the best and, if needed, deal with the "worst" (even the "worst" doesn't warrant the drama being drummed up already). SMH.
