New Hire at Ameriflight

Well, if the gear was out of position after landing, you're going to have a hard time getting back to the ramp.

Just make sure the gear handle comes up to down neutral, but you really should have checked that one out around, oh, I dunno, the FAF.

Lame

So no one is will to divulge a closely guarded secret of the "chieftain flows"??

Do you check the landing gear position and lights after landing?

I am kind of interested in this as well as I am hoping to go there once I hit mins here soon, if they'll take me of course.;)

I was being a smart ass.

I'm curious, as Amflight seems to have a solid training program with regards to the PA31. Not to say mine was subpar in comparison. The mention of "the flows" perked my ears, as we only use one for engine failure. I've since developed my own "flow" with regard to before takeoff, climb, cruise, before and after landing. I'd like to compare, to see if I could be more efficient.

Amflight operates the same way any airliner cockpit I've been in operates. Flows, backed up by checklists, for everything. Single pilot guys talking to themselves as they go through their flows (or at least they're supposed to).

I don't remember any of them, to be honest, maybe one of the current Chieftain guys would get you up to speed. I think suiav8er is flying the Chieftain currently?
