New GI Bill and Flight Training

Well I have already gotten a bachelor's and a master's out of the gi bill. I just have 4 months of benefit left and only need multi-comm and MEI. There are no IHL facilities within driving distance that do flight. The closest one does not allow you to enroll only in MeI or multi, you must do the commercial initial rating with them. Anyways I feel I have gotten plenty of bang for the buck, so if I can just squeeze out these last two it would be great, even if it means leaving the benefits of doing it an IHL on the table. The school seems to think that I will be able to do the full year amount as long as I stay under four months but they are new to the VA game. Other research suggested that it will be pro-rated but after reading the VA website it does not address this issue where I have been able to find it.

You are right, either way you got good education out of it. Now that school you are talking to, they should have a liaison type of person who should talk to the VA and get answers for you. You know, rather than telling you yeah we think we can do this.
