Marana, we have Supp charts for that. Apparently our go-to airport for fleet retirements. Bunch of Airbus went there, reconfigured to whatever their owners wanted, and then ferry out.

The aircraft with the door blow out went to VCV. Some go to the boneyard in TUS. I really don't know where they will all go. Sometimes I track them when I am bored but I've been super busy on reserve lately.

My fondest memory of that place. We had temporarily moved our DZ there from AVQ (runway resurfacing, I think) and had a bunch of military dudes camping out with us. A jeep rolls up and says something to the effect of “Across the field is one of the most SECURE areas of the US (FLETC), Don’t go wandering around at night!”

I’ve discovered the power of no. I always used to please and be a yes person. People will take advantage of that. I look back in my 20s and early/mid 30s and can’t believe how blind I was.

Wait until the “Curated Family” years start! Life gets tremendously better when you start to curate your friends and family and they all form one unit. I haven’t spoken to certain uncles aunts and cousins for decades and I’m totally OK with that. Maybe a small handful from high school because most of them are just • now so ehh!
