I can’t tell if she’s getting some TLC or being put out to pasture. Either way those Pratts are getting long in the tooth. I’m surprised when they start on a hot summer day.

I'm going through the transition you went through but I have a niece that's in her 20s and "I know how she feels" about life, and its causing some family strife!

My oldest nephew is reaching the age (17 now) of getting emotionally attached to injustices, and you know, probably wanting to create a better future. He's a cool, caring kid. It's the classic upper middle class privately schooled in PDX his whole life experience, but he means well, and is passionate. Which is to say, he is me, 25 years ago (though I was a public school product). I wouldn't say it is causing "strife", but he does invite the wrath of some other uncles, who are deep in the middle of Gen X dumpster

I think strife maybe too strong a word... I have a difference in opinion on how post-college aged parenting/coddling, and the effects it has on the work ethic of the gen z's, and perhaps "failure to launch"...My oldest nephew is reaching the age (17 now) of getting emotionally attached to injustices, and you know, probably wanting to create a better future.
