So true, Don't pick a CFI to make a new friend, that will just come. Pick a CFI for their ability to teach you about flying. Don't be afraid to switch CFI's either, I did it once and it was the best thing EVER!
From what you said, me personally I would choose Mike. It seems like you are finding things in him that you like, which is good, But also his schedule is more free. Having a CFI at your disposal, makes flight training so much better, now only if it can be like that with the Planes. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
