Our main networking event (we're calling it a "party" this year) is going to be held on Monday night so we can use the AV equipment (laptop, projector, speakers, microphones etc).
It'll start at 7 and go until 12. There will be 4 hrs of open bar but this year...EVERYONE will be leaving the premises at the end of the evening and we will all need to watch out for those who imbibe too much...remember that this is a networking event and impressions DO count. i don't want the event to end up like last year, it seriously scared the *poop* out of me!! hopefully I'm making myself clear
Anyways...back to describing the fun... 4 hrs of open bar, cash bar after that... we'll have some good munchies there like mini croissant sandwiches, wings, chips/salsa, veggie plates and more as well as a cake (as far as i know, we have one birthday in the house, let me know if we have more)
Hopefully enough fat/grease for everyone as the drinks are flowing.
We were thinking of holding a "learning lesson" using flight sim and shots but not really sure that's a hot idea..it'd be more like using a few people to simulate how alcohol affects the body "in flight". If you think that would be advantageous, let us know...
we're open to using the AV equipment for Karaoke or DJ type of thing....I don't really what would be best yet or how many would like to do Karaoke...to be honest, i'm open to suggestions on how best to use the AV equipment.
Mike (Mpenguin) has enough marketing products to do goodie bags again this year for anyone that wants one. Those who do.. please list yourself in this thread so we can make sure you get one. Goodie bags typically have marketing information, pens, stickers, info about Boeing planes as well as other marketing information from Boeings subsidiaries and clients. You can only pick these up at the Capt. Haynes Event or this event.
I think that's really about it....Any questions, let me know.
