Network, Network...for the love of God, NETWORK!

I found it wildly easy to get some help with networking just by politely asking from time to time. One guy even went to the HR people at his legacy to see how badly I screwed up the online resume. Even found out my score was high (not high enough) but high after fixing some stupid mistakes.

@Gonzo and @SurferLucas , sorry I couldn't give you a tour of the TOC. If I didn't have my Riddle class last night, I would have come down. Besides your guys plan B looked a hell of a lot better than seeing the TOC!

Hell naw, seeing the TOC would have probably caused my head to explode with the confetti being little widgets :)

Next time, I can't wait to crawl around on planes (assuming that's allowed?)

It's allowed depending on the level of tear down required for the particular checks. Heck I've even invited @Derg to come over and check out the A319/A320s, but it's past his bed time by the time I get in to work!:D

Nights next week? I might drag my first officer over to see a real-live 319/320.

I got to tour that place in college and it was friggin incredible. Got to climb inside a mad dog that had it's entire interior removed. Then we got to see a 777 that just had it's crew rest facility installed.

You guys do some cool stuff!

Today was epic and it wouldn't have happened without @Derg
Also after one river visual 19 in the sim I am a Airbus fan boy.

It's definitely a nice ride!

Sounds like you guys had a great day....very cool.

As to the direction of the OP,
@Derg is like Yoda....Network, you can. Meet people, you will. Job, you can have!
I've met so many great people via this website. I concur with others that said, hang out here, go to JC events when able, don't be a jack wagon, and pay it forward. Those simple things will help you, and probably your career, in the long run!

Look at that...he's in the left seat for a minute and he's already assumed possession of his manservant! :p:D

You're damned right. Besides, I'm paired with a new hire (who, by the way, is kicking ass), but someone's gotta play "Alpha"! :)

Am I being a jack wagon again, was I supposed to say "the"? :)

Youre only a jack wagon if you refuse to let your FO do the walk around in the rain. ;)

If @Polar742 is in town, he may be able to show us his "mothership"!
