Navy blasphemy

Yea, right.

Perhaps the C130 was a SPECTRE. Add that to the F18 without weapons. Then take that divided by the amount of percent you were over Hurlburt or Eglin instead of NAS Pensacola to come up with the irony quotient.

As for how you'll sleep, just think back when you were playing volleyball shirtless on the beach with a bunch of other sweaty dudes and racing your crotch rocket against a fighter jet.

Oh, and going "ballistic on Penny Benjamen".

Sweet dreams, Sailor. ;)

I highly doubt that you'd hear anyone in AFSOC say "Go Air Force".

This thread is GREAAAATTT!!!! I am :rotfl:. I have no dog in the fight, pops was an F-4 GIB in Vietnam, that's about it.

How to tell the difference between the services in one easy step.

Tell a group of military men to secure a building.

The Air Force servicemen will get a one year lease on said building. "Building secure, sir!"

The Navy guys will go inside, turn out every light and lock every door. "Building secure, sir!"

The Army will establish a perimeter simultaneously denying access to anyone and letting no one out. "Building secure, sir!"

The Marines will rush the building and kill anything that moves. "Building secure, sir!"

And that's all I have to contribute.

I think the 737-800 could take the MD-90 unless the forward galley ovens were full of heavy entrees and chocolate chip cookies. The snacks-only 737-500 might be the best overall choice here. Just remember what Viper said: "Don't descend below the hard deck"

I'll give you two turns man. If I can get my lift vector on your 73, if you don't manage to "depart" before I get you in the cone, it's OVAH! :)

That's Dept of Homeland Security (formerly DOT) to the uninitiated.:bandit:

I have much respect for the USCG...I even married a Coastie. I do give her crap for being DHS though!:D

My wife is 4' 11 3/4", I kid you not. And she was a BM...you were Navy right, same same. She was a reservist, though, so she played pretend military.

A BM? Does she have that annoying-as-hell BM-standard whistle?

Nah, I made her get rid of it (she only made it to BM3 in the reserves). I did "confiscate" her Gerber though, and just about every day while I am home, I use it.

Yeah stonecold, I am just a couple hours behind you CET and missed some of the posts and inadvertantly locked horns. Clean out your inbox and we can arrange a few bevvies.

Nothing but respect for the Coasties.Their special arrangement as the only one of 5 military services not DOD gives them great Posse Comitatus exemptions in the LE arena. If I were to do it again, I would've applied for the Coast Guard academy or merchant marine. A lot of guys looking for commissions should look into those orgs. I got a buddy went merchant marine academy-naval aviator-continental navy reserves. Had quite a few good deals along the way. Okay bad joke coming: HMs doing the long form physical tell me BMs mean something else but being land based NFO I got the Bosom Mate thing.:D

This is completely off topic and i apologize in advance, What does the Farsi on that third patch say Mike D? i can't read the dot's above the letters and in turn quit trying to read it, but it looks interesting
