I realize they don't own it but it does have a large focus on Boeing. Many people call it the Boeing museum as a result.Boeing doesn't have a museum.

It'll be worth the trip. You can't land at the museum, so you'll have to pick a nearby airport and find a ride. Maybe find another jc'er in the area or contact Meyers9163 to see if he's up for it.I think I'll do a long XC this year over there.
Tomcats....Hornets got nothing on them in that regardSorry AMG

As a child of the 80s I totally agree. The F-14 was THE fighter plane at the time.
While the F-14 was starring in a movie and kids were putting posters of it up on their walls, the F-15 was out racking up a 104-to-zero air-to-air kill record.

I remember when the F-15 was still experimental. I asked my dad if he was going to fly one if/when the USAF gets them. Short answer - no. He preferred radials and props over jets. While the F-14 was starring in a movie and kids were putting posters of it up on their walls, the F-15 was out racking up a 104-to-zero air-to-air kill record.
I would totally take a job flying radials over one in a jet.
Funny you should say that. There's a B-36 that was just recently restored to flying condition and will be on the airshow circuit starting this year.Very cool pics thanks to the OP for posting. I defiantly dug the pics of the B-36 (perhaps the coolest bomber in the world).

I got lucky and had a long layover in Dayton last week, Such an amazing place! and FYI for anyone going you have to sign up to see the presidential planes and experimental planes (must see XB-70A Valkyrie) the sign up location is at the exit of the WWII aircraft exhibit.
And its FREE admission!
