My new book! ^.^

P.S. Congrats on your book and on starting your own publishing company! I started my own, too, but never quite made it to publishing other people (I think I ran out of steam or time, or something). I bet it will be fun when you get to do it. I look forward to reading your book.

If any of yall have had time to read my book, or part of it, I'd love to hear your feedback—positive or negative. ^.^

Hesitantly bumping this. Last time, though. I've gotten a few positive reviews, but quite a bit of:
About 20% of the way through, and I'm really enjoying it. Great work! :)
Just picked it up on Kindle. Thanks for the freebie! Will leave a review.

... and nothing else! My natural assumption is that this is the realm of "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all", but if I lose readers somewhere in the middle, its in my best interest to know where and why so that I can watch for similar problems in the sequels.

I welcome both positive and negative feedback—without the former, a creative spirit will falter; without the latter, he will fail to improve.

Respectfully yours,

Not at all - on page 108 now. Just picked it back up earlier this week after months of busyness and am enjoying it. I will follow through with the review promise!

The reviews are looking great, man! Congrats.
Thank you much. ^.^

I had a blast writing it, and I'm having a great time working on the sequel. I hope I can attract more people into my books when they see that it's a continuing series and not an isolated book.

Time will tell!

Hey, sorry for not getting back to you. I actually finished it a couple months ago. Very, very well written. I was impressed that this was your first published novel. I will say that I didn't quite take to the theme of the characters being animals (hard for me to visualize), but that's not a reflection on the story or writing.

Great job, again!

Well thanks a bunch... ^.^ Unless I meet an untimely demise, it won't be my last. Did you enjoy the story?

Indeed I did! Solid storyline, excellent character development. The enslaved dancer storyline with Knoskali was dark and fairly twisted in its own ways, but that's what's great about books: They expose you to themes you might not have been exposed to before. I'll be reading your next book. :)

Awesome ... thank you. ^.^

I find that to be very motivational.

I have to admit, I'm a sci-fi geek! Have you thought about promoting your work on sci-fi forums like spacebattles.com and bbs.stardestroyer.net? You'll likely grow your fan-base by doing that!

I'm actually not sure where to promote for sci-fi... and sci-fi geeks scare me a little! ^.^ I'm worried I'll be ripped apart...

I haven't done any real promotion yet... just passed it around my circles of friends and hoped for word-of-mouth until I have the second book out, when I plan to start doing a bit more promotion.
