More Delta furloughs?

I wonder who it is since there's only a few of us who commute out of Philly. Either way, it's quite amazing how people come up with these numbers just off the top of their head. I sure hope that there won't be any furloughs at any other companies other than what we have heard already. Then again, that's probably just wishful thinking on my part.

Yes it would be from the combined list. Delta had I believe a few more classes run after NWA stopped hiring in April of 08. Search function "joint list" gives you the real answers I'm just speaking generally.
 
2500 is WAY high. To put it in perspective, Delta would be furloughing the amount of pilots at Pinnacle.....almost twice.

Know how I know? Well I was down at Babe's Cabaret enjoying the "businessman's special" (Two table dances and an order of buffalo wings between 1100 and 1315) and the stripper says that Richard Branson frequents the joint. Well HE said that he was talking to one of his colleagues at United that gets coffee for a guy who KNOWS a guy that works in the office... And HE said...

Well in this climate who knows what is going to happen. Yes, there have been furloughs at many carriers but that does not mean all will have to. That being said, I think there is a chance that there could be a small number of furloughs at DAL. I think 2500 is just an insane number, I could see IF they furlough and I do mean IF that it would be a couple hundred at most. They are not going to flush the bottom 20% of their list and destroy Compass. Just one opinion, throw it in the pile with the others. Did you know RAH is trying to buy DAL??
