Okay, then being concerned about the pilot pay at a major or a legacy is irrelevant at this stage. See what I just wrote to you in your other thread, let's start from there and see what we can help you sort out. Use the resources here for your current situation and the near future (next steps) ......you'll get much better advice which will be more pertinent and practical for you. Congrats btw on getting your Private.

Thank you. I don't care about the pay. I'm in it because it is what I love to do. I was just asking out of curiosity because people always say pilots don't make a lot of money.

One of the first things you need to know, is don't listen to what people who have no idea what they are talking about, say. Now I am not telling you that everything will be a cakewalk, because it won't. But if you have the ability to focus, work very hard, stay the course, not get too discouraged or give up, realize that it may take years and will cost you a good deal of time and money, then you absolutely can succeed. And pilots.........we all bitch and complain too much about all sorts of stupid things. lol But very few of us regret our careers or would do anything else for a living. Sure, the industry is not what it was and is ever changing, but you can at some point with dedication do very well. You just have to learn to ride out the b.s., make good decisions, network like crazy and stay committed. If you really have the deep down passion to be a professional pilot and love flying, you'll make it happen.

You should also look into other types of flying that can and do pay very well and where you will have a great QOL and be very happy. 121 is not the end all be all of being a professional pilot. There are many paths and careers in flying for a living and there are a lot of folks with all sorts of that experience on here, who will be willing to tell you what ever you need to know.

Enjoy the process, don't worry about way in the future what ifs and what nots. Feel free to reach out here for help and advice.
