Mesaba Class Date

Well I was told by HR that they are no longer hiring Saab FO's. I tried to get a Saab class date and was told it would be a while.

I love the Saab, but you wouldn't want it right now anyway just because of your above statement. The Saab FO list is done with the fast movement (it was basically a 100% turnover since may '07).

Now that almost all the Saab FO's that were hired before may '07 have upgraded, which is when this whole expansion thing started, the only saab FO movement will be from people reaching ATP mins...and that'll happen sporadically throughout the list.

There will be no more reaching the top half of the saab FO list within 3-4 months of getting hired though....as it'll take more than a year to get most of these new hires to 1500TT.

The good news is if you've got (or can get to) 1500TT then don't worry about it...concern yourself with the captain list instead:D
 
Well I interviewed with Mesaba yesterday on the 27th. The gouges were and are DEAD ON for anyone who is thinking about applying. I feel like everything went ok, the HR technical portion went well as did the sim (or whatever that thing was) so, we'll see what happends.........
