Very ass-rapey on price, though. :/ Unless you're a senior captain somewhere, it's nigh unaffordable.

Their complete services are included in union membership for most airline pilot groups out there.

You are an AOPA LSP lawyer correct?
I am a lawyer who among other things is on the AOPA referral list.

Oh, I think understand now. Are you laboring under the unfortunately common lack of understanding how this process works and the nature of legal advice? Are you picturing some crazy scenario in which someone gets a lawyer or advocate to fight tooth and nail with the FAA as soon as the words "special issuance" are mentioned and thinking that's the way it usually goes?

Sorry. Not even close to the reality, particularly when it comes to medical issues. in most of the bad ones, the process of attempted pilot compliance and agency rejection and, sometimes fixation on denial, has gone a long way before any specialized assistance was sought. in fact, pilots with a potential medical issue would, as I think you already suggested, fare far better with advance professional aviation medical advice to get their ducks in a row before they ever fill out a medical app.

Nope.

You are missing the reality here, not I.

Ok.

Out of curiosity, do you think AOPA cares for their members?

So easy to use the troll word.

Harder to get actual results with organizations like the FAA.

Sounds like an AME issue not a FAA issue.

The FAA Medical Branch does excellent work getting pilots back in the air.

Only time is the issue. Lots of time...... at least in my case.

"Yes Mr.Turner, after this last review we agree we should of reinstated your SI 3.5 months ago...."
