Boeing Lounge MAX 10 FAA Certification

I hate the 73 with an unhealthy obsession, especially after flying “real” Boeings. However, it is the only airplane we have in CLE, it makes my airline a lot of money, and I like profit-sharing checks.

I will be annoyed coming over the numbers at Mach Jesus with terrible landing performance, every time I do an engine start, the overhead panel in general, and having to turn engine start switches on while turning on the NAI.

I will then remind myself that I’ve moved 50% up a legacy seniority list in 5 years, mostly due to growth on our narrow fleets (particularly the Max), the job security and QoL the airplane provides, and did I mention…profit sharing checks?

Am I excited to fly this overgrown, dumpster-fire, clown-show of an airplane? Meh…

Am I excited it got certified for all the other above reasons? Absolutely…

Yeah you said it better. It is a tool to keep stacking that cheddar. I don't really care what it is, so long as the engines keep turning and the wings don't fall off. Yes I say that realizing that some Boeing haters will disagree that those things continue to not happen on 737s
