Malaysian 777 Plane Crashes in Ukraine

The ICAO requirement is for the country of the aircraft's manufacturer to have a right to participate in the investigation, also, Mike.

Thats a correct stipulation. However I was just focusing on the NTSB or governmental aspect. Much in the same way that the FAA is always party to any NTSB aviation investigation, per US law.

It's the country where the crash occurred. Other countries with investigation expertise will assist as requested. Even the NTSB only takes an assistance role, again if requested, for accidents of US registered or built civil aircraft that crash outside the United States.

Does that apply to search and rescue as well? Obviously if a plane crashed in international waters (possibly MH370) there is no country where the crash occurred, so does responsibility fall on departure county?

What's the chance it was an accident?

Ground troops training on live targets, a safety was off and the missile launched,

Search and rescue will be whichever country it occurred in, but all countries who can assist will. The responsibility for MH370 was difficult because the SAR was nowhere near their land (from what was thought); so whichever country is nearest will usually be requested to assist and no country ever turns that down.

I will look for mainstream claims/sources on this but this is an interesting spin on the issue. In short, Putin's presidential jet and the fallen Malaysian jet crossed paths at one point and it was an attempt on President Putin's life. I know the source is not the best (for some/many) but I was curious to see Jones' spin on this.

You admitted earlier that you're biased on this issue, I gotta ask what's the point in investigating further if you're already convinced you know what happened?

Yea, it would be a great idea for Ukraine to assassinate Putin. There wouldn't be any retaliation that would adversely affect the Ukraine. And they have the ability to do so over Poland as well

Wow... who would have figured illegally occupying people would have pissed off the other side? What would I do about rockets? Considering Hamas has fired "hundreds" of missiles and only killed one Israeli so far? I'd use that Iron Dome interceptor. Killing women and children because some Hamas guy lives 5 houses down is BS. As far as I'm concerned the Zionist movement is just as crazy as ISIS. Anyone claiming land in the name of God is a lunatic in this century.

I'm not really to sure that Hamas should be getting any help. Israel may not be in the right here, but Hamas has the blood of many innocent people on it's hands as well, by the way of suicide bombers no less.

I know they are Wiki articles, but if you sift through the jibber jabber, and just pull the facts(timeline stuff), they are not innocent. They're a freaking terrorist organization for gods sake!

The British guy on CNN (Can't remember if he's one of their aviation guys or not) just went off on one of the female anchors after she asked "Shouldn't Malaysian Airlines be even more careful about this kind of thing?" He essentially called her out for making preliminary judgements already without any knowledge and immediately blaming the airline. It was kind of awesome, you could tell he actually got upset. Respect for that guy bumped up a bit.

That would be a valid argument if they were only killing members of Hamas. But they're not. They're killing civilians by the hundreds.

Do you believe the IDF when they say that Hamas are using human shields, some of them last minute shields purposefully trying to garner sympathy?
