Well, I don't consider myself an authority on many things, this however, I do.

While it's not proper phraseology, pilots say all sorts of weird things on hand off.

Especially on a mid shift when the frequency is pretty much empty. They might not have been speaking English and something was lost in the translation.

CNN is now reporting China satellite images that could be the crash site. Possible plane with 3 suspected floating objects next to it. The image was taken Sunday morning.
Did you see this in the news last week?

Some estimates suggest that up to 10,000 containers fall into the ocean every year.

As I understand it they lost RADAR with the 777. An hour or more later (depending on the report) a primary return was picked up heading the other way. What makes them think this was the 777?

The TV talking heads are now saying the same thing. They must be watching this forum for my posts.

I must admit I feel a little smarter right now. Then again, after reading Shane Williams' posts I feel like Albert Einstein!

So I'm guessing it has been confirmed to be apart of the aircraft? SMH

I'd think China satellite images would be every bit as good as our satellite images. Wonder why???
