Maglites

I have a 2-D cell that I converted for terrorist beatin' in a 172 :D

I actually posted on here about it, beat ya to it doug, (with my maglite;)). I LOVE IT!

Is that where you've been, man? :) TSA declare "fatwa" on you?

Nah I'm always around!! Still busting out my 1.76 posts a day! Weird thing is I typically post less on my days off, when I have more time

14 days off this month, which may or may not turn into 16! I figure I'll work more when yr 2 pay hits...

I have gone through about half a dozen maglites, AAA, AA, 2C, 4D. They last a while but the original bulb is pretty weak, and the whole twist on/off for the minimag has inadvertantly turned a light on inside my bag or backpack more times than I can count. Pulling your flashlight out of your bag only to find the batteries dead kinda sucks.

I have two surefire gun lights, one on my shotgun, and one on one of my pistols. Those things are so bloody bright I literally couldn't see for about an hour after testing one on myself. They use the same bulbs as many of the regular Surefire lights, so I think that is probably going to be my next purchase.

But the crash axe in my swinging arm, and the old skool maglite in my left, I can unleash berserker frenzy. I think it's L1+R2+UP+DPAD+R3.

Al Quada has the cheat codes, might as well give yourself a fighting chance.

:rotfl: damn that was good

When I'm not playing grumpy airline pilot, I'm known to be a wee bit humorous! ;)

I have a minimag that I've had since I was an EMT in Philly. More than once I put the butt up under some guys ribs as they were trying to jump me. Yup, they would call 911 for something, one would lay down pretending to be unconcious and when we pull up, they would jump us and take drugs, needles, money, etc.

When I get on with a 121, I'll have both a full size terrorist beater and a pint sized rib breaker.

No terrorist beat-down light here (although, that's a good idea too....just no room in the flight case that already weighs 50lbs)........Soooo, I'm using the Surfire G2.....very affordable (even on F/O pay) and very bright!

I turn on my maglite and ask the other pilot:

"Smell that? That's the smell of your cornea's baking. Nice, huh?"
