Lurkers, it is time to come out of the closet!

I agree - everyone has *something* to share!! and all of our knowledge is valuable to each other!!

I can honestly say that precisely 87.43% of my information is utterly useless and not valuable to anyone ...

I think it was about as long for me before I made my first post. As you can see, I've been sooo prolific since.

I just didn't want to be another guy on here talking about stuff I still don't understand fully, sounding like a poseur. This industry scares me to my soul and attracts me like a moth at the same time. I'm a new PPL (may) about to get out of the Navy (CTI) and about to jump into the fracas (frasca?..hmm). I know it's a terrible industry, but like democracy, it seems like the worst, but for all the others.
I was about to say aw, ph..kit, but then this summer, a very kind soul escorted my CFI and I on a grand tour of Widget World in ATL. This included dispatch and a little sit in the 738 level-D. Looking around that cockpit, (and making 2 unloggable greasers), I was like "Yeah, I could get used to this". Kind of put my feet back on the path to...poverty? Thanks for the invitation to participate, Doug and Kristie. I've always felt strange about forums.
Kindest Regards,
John

I know that Doug sometimes has a penchant for songs.....

So....

Don't just stand there let's get to it, Strike a Pose there's nothing to it.

Register.............

But being a poseur can be so fun! Imagine talking about things like Mach tuck, compressibility, turbofan bypass ratios, whether an MD-88 is a better fit for a certain flight than an MD-90....oh wait, that's airliners.net I'm thinking of....

I am guilty of lurking. I lurk around every day, and once in a while I have something important to say (like this post
grin.gif
) and I login. Mainly I know about 1/10th of 1 percent about the aviation industry, and don't want to look like a dumbass and say something irrelevant or wrong.

602, that still leaves you with just over 198 posts (as of 10/29) that have something valuable! You see, you make a difference around here! LOL

And 47.6 % of statistics are useless.

HA! Got you beat, bud! I'd say 98.99999 - 9999999% of MY information is utterly useless and not valuable to anyone...

Oh whatever people!

You're the ones who helped create the website! Sheesh!

"or maybe its people who are lurking but should really register and share there wonderful knowledge about aviation!

Lurkers, it is time to come out of the closet"

In a society of stereotypes, this may be harder to do...

Hi everyone, I'm Brendan, and I'm addicted to aviation.

its been much too long for me....thinking about getting some actual with a buddy tonite....dc is nice and socked in. i figure the only way to beat the seasonal disorders associated with rainy fall weather is to climb out and play above it in the sunshine.
