LuggageWorks

I am on year 6 with my 22" LW. It is the single best investment I have ever made and it is still going strong. 6 years mind you with 4 of those being on a SAAB which our bags had to go in back with everyone else's, so it was getting thrown twice a leg.

I have had to replace the wheels, zipper tab, and a couple screws. Just stay on top of keeping the screws tight and it will take care of you.

I have a 22" LW as well. Solid investment. At the 2 year mark, I sent it in for zipper repairs and a few holes I had worn in it. I dropped my bag at the Stopover Store in MSP. Repairs are no longer done on site, your bag is sent away and you're issued a loaner. My bag was repaired free of charge and shipped back to me. LW also permitted me to drop off the loaner at Crew Outfitters in ATL once I received my repaired bag. The turnaround was about two weeks.

I had a nice conversation yesterday with Jeff (sp?) at the Stop Over Store when I called to ask about the briefcase I want in addition to the Stealth 22. He was very helpful and was as interested in finding answers to my questions as was interested in getting them. He was well versed on the temperature and pulse of both corporate and airline flight crew issues. He also said LW has two new models coming out in the next few months.

If you ever cross paths with the 737, get the 22 with NO side pockets. They (w/ pockets) won't fit under the crew bag storage area and end up getting torn up or ripped off. We just went with Jeppesen ship-sets and I just bought a bag from brightlinebags.com for my headset and personal gear to replace my flight bag. They are modular in design and are the coolest little bags ever. My Stealth 22 and brightline bag is the perfect combo for me.
Is this brightline bag the one with all of the diffrent color tabs on the zipper? Lil colored dots?

LOCTITE bruthaman!

I've used so much blue loctite on mine that they are gonna hate me when I take it in to have it rehabbed next month!

I'm looking to sell my 22" stealth... Used for 7 months. Great bag when I was 121, but flying corporate now. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM! We can come up with a good price.

Jeff is a quality dude.

I was in their storefront in Stillwater this week to see about getting an old, third-hand (at least) chart case repaired. They didn't have the bits any longer and it was an odd model that Luggage Works only made for about six months, but he directed me to a shoe repair shop around the corner who could do the job. Considering it was out of warranty for years, and I'd bought it on Ebay for $10 I thought that was pretty classy from a customer service standpoint.

I bought a 22" Stealth on the spot for my new airline gig, in no small part because I know how good the support will be down the road.

Blue is for if you want to take the screw out again. Red is for it never coming out.
This. I'd try more blue before switching to red.

To be honest, though I've never had a problem with the screws coming out of mine. I wonder if it's a build quality thing.

What are these new products you speak of?

That and so far I have yet to even attempt to use my side pocket. On the CRJ the FO puts their bag in the rear overhead bin. It's snug as it is, I'd imagine putting anything in the side pocket would make it no longer fit.
