Wheels up,

This is interesting reading, although I am too early on in my training and career to take advantage of any of these opportunities. I just wanted to say thank you, nonetheless. I think it shows incredibly good character on your part, to take time out of your day to do this.

Thanks mate - it doesn't take much time to do this and hopefully it helps people. I remember what is was like to search for that first job and it was a miserable experience - 35+ resumes and a few responses, mostly negative.

thanks wheelsup, I am always looking for other opportunities.

but i just want to ask/recommend others to stay away from Go-Jet airlines. it was the first job listed on your list. please dont go there peoples, if you have other options take those.

I thought he put that on there as a joke. You don't want to start your career off as a wart. :)

What's wrong with Go-Jet?

They were created to get around scope, as well as paying pilots properly (although no GJs payscales have been released, the pay is dramatically lower, especially for flying a 70 seat a/c). They've played games with TSA people in the pool too, "We won't have any slots at TSA for at least another year, so come over to GJ and get 5 years of seniority"

That is very true. I know a personal friend of mine who got on with TSA and she's warned me repeatedly to stay away from even applying to TSA because I may get moved over to GoJets, which, of course, will damage my career.
