You never know who'll end up as your new chief pilot. Trust me, I know.

... or an airline executive, FAA executive, etc...

FYI- this HAS to be the same guy as the previous "MENSA" post- JUST INCASE IT was not clear. The name of the guy on the other post was TEDWRIGHT.... this guys name is TIGH as in TedwrIGHt.... THought MENSA or NAMBLA or whatever organization you are in would have "outsmarted" the rest of us... or does this mean I'm now qualified to join MENSA?

I am no longer interested in this part time position. THANK YOU! Good day to you sir!

I am flattered that I come to mind, and I truly hate to disappoint you- but TIGH is not one of my personae.

I honestly just wanted my thread to go away. I was not pleased when some jackass bumped it back after 2 months.

You may call me of being an arrogant dick (which while somewhat untrue, I have earned myself that distinction here), but I am NOT a troll !!!

Thank you.

Sorry but you just ousted yourself buddy- You just said... TIGH is not you, but then you just said you wanted your thread to go away after 2 months and you weren't happy after someone brought it back- So how do you explain that?\

MODS- is it time to close this yet??????

? huh ?? I was explaining that the last thing I would want to do is bring more attention onto myself. ergo TIGH= not me

I don't get why everybody is so disgusted. If I'm being paid my daily rate to fly a plane and teach somebody I really don't care who it is or their attitude. If I was in the area I think I would pursue it. If the OP wants to make long x/c to learn, so be it, it just might take a long time when you only practice one landing every 2 hours.

Hey, Ill help you out. I live in Houston so if you just leave me your email or phone number we can work something out.

Looking for a CFI in Houston area for a temp assignment. I have a private with instrument and multi engine with about 250 hrs of total time. Own a high performance airplane. Have not flown in couple of years and need to get current and finish commercial/instrument rating.

Looking for an instructor with some experience to work with me. You should have a flexible schedule and be available to fly for several full days in a row. Most of the training will take place during longer cross country flights.

Please contact me if you are interested or know somebody who might be. Please do not reply unless you are an interested CFI. After looking at some of the posts here, I don't to want to have a discussion here about general thoughts on aviation, advise on flight training or whining about how unfair the job market is for pilots. Save that discussion for a different forum.

If we have compatible personalities, you are not a nervous pilot or have a god complex because you have some rating under you belt, I am sure we can work out an arrangement that works for both of us.

I am an experienced CFI, II, MEI in the Houston area. If you are still looking for a CFI in the area let me know.

Jared

Are you trying to tell us you are a Big Shot?
