Quick question- I'm thinking about investing in LogTen Pro. I have an iMac, iPad, and iPhone- can I just buy the program for my Mac and sync on all three devices via iCloud or does the company actually require me to buy three different versions? There is no way I'm buying it for all three separately but if I can actually sync them with one purchase that would be great. Thanks.

Two versions—one for MacOS and one for iOS.

Personally, I spent the $99 on the mac version and then the $30 (or was it $40) for the iPhone version. I skipped paying even more to have LogTen Pro on my iPad. I use my phone to enter flights and times and do everything else on my laptop. I don't see how adding an iPad into the mix would benefit me at all.

I have had issues with the program and customer service, I think its all resolved now but if you don't have a mac don't expect much help.

then they should advertise it as mac only, not Ipad friendly.

It is definitely iPad friendly, as that's how I have been using it n an iPad for three years.

When I first began using it I ran into a problem and posted a question and request on the company's web site. Within two hours I got a phone call from the company president. This was on a Sunday afternoon. He got my problem sorted out in a few minutes, and I've been a happy camper. Count me among the satisfied users.

wow that is great for you, it is also not the experience I have had with the company.

I've also had good luck with them through their online support. They got back to me within 24hrs and we had it sorted out quickly. It was an issue within the software itself causing airports to double up in my places database and causing the software to crash.

I have the Mac version and also the "universal" on my phone and iPad. The new iCloud syncing feature is awesome. Works flawlessly over hotel wifi, unlike my experience at most hotels.

I have the universal, as long as all devices are on the same wifi and program open I can sync all four (Mac,MacBook, and iPad/iPhone). Only qualm I have is the format on the iPad. Somehow it's translates into what I set up on the desktop, but just feels weird

But to answer op original question, do it. Never looked back. As with any logbook don't get behind but otherwise it's great!

I have the same setup. No reason to put it on the iPad too. If it was free, sure....but I'm certainly not gonna pay for another app.
