Question 1. Any good? Worth the $100 (plus $39 for the mobile version too)?
Question 2. If I have about 4000 hours in paper logbooks is it necessary to spend God knows how long to put all those flight in it, or just bring over all the totals?

If logten mobile would sync to my PC, then I would be all over it.
Does mobile allow you to put in your out/off/on/in times??
I am halfway there with the phone, but need a Mac! Does chucking my laptop under a bus in Chicago count for accidental damage?![]()
I am very interested in this as well, what are the advantages of LogTen Pro over LogBook Pro?
For those of us in a Mac environment, who also have iPhones, which is the better system?
Absolutely!!!
I have not used Logbook Pro so I dont have an educated opinion about it. I can tell you that I have already transferred about 1000 hours in LogTen Pro in a couple weeks!! It takes about 5 seconds to put a flight in after it auto fills PIC, ASEL, AMEL, dual given, jet.....
Its got so many features that and im learning a new one everyday.
It syncs up great with the Iphone too!
Only 3000 hours to go.anic:
I personally use Logbook Pro and have done so for years. It is a solid program that has excellent reporting options and good PDA support for both the GA pilot and the Professional Pilot. The software was written by an Ex A-10 driver and a Frontier Pilot. It has been a lifesaver when filling out airline applications. It seems everyone wants the time broken down differently these days.
Logbook Pro will even run a MAC for those of you that want to run VMWare's Fusion or other suitable emulator.
I also feel Logbook Pro is priced fairly to start and they don't hit you constantly with upgrade fees. Logbook Pro has been out for ten years with numerous upgrades and they have yet to charge a fee for a Logbook Pro upgrade.
Logbook Pro also offers tech support, logbook printing services, data entry services, and custom paper and leather binders by Cirrus. If you notice LogTen sends their customers to Logbook Pro (aka NC-Software) for binders and paper.
If you have any questions feel free to PM me or visit Logbook Pro through link below. They also offer a free trial version.
I just checked and they have a sale running now too. 10% off all orders of $100 if you use the code CASHBACK:rawk:
Or you could save about a hundred bucks and use a free logbook program thats just as good. (http://flightlogg.in)
