How does a thread started by someone else sharing his logshare logbook turn into trying to tell this kid how to fly and how to live his flying life I'll never understand
Since you've never contributed to thread creep yourself.... (where is that sarcasm tag?... ahh, yeah, here it is...

)

I'll try to spell it out for you. :buck:
It started out as "Hey look at this Internet resource I'm using!" From there we witnessed a brief feint towards "I have a better idea, use this program", and then a definite swerve towards "Hey, look at MY logbook!" Well, when we're not just looking at the software and its features but we're now comparing hours and airplanes and such, one logbook stood out as a little different, so somebody commented. The other guy took it a little personal, and then someone else pointed out a discrepancy in his posts and... well, then it focused on the kid's dual received.
As thread creep goes, this was pretty tame. Nobody has talked about PFT ... no, wait, there was that stream reamark... well, anyway, I've seen lots worse.
But now we have to answer the question, "Do posts about thread creep themselves constitute thread creep?"
I guess we'll have to resolve that issue before we can get back on topic.
