Logbook Discrepancies

So, when you apply and interview, do these people want to see signatures in your logbook to verify your flights and training? Just trying to get a better understanding of this process.

The only time I ever had my logbook scrutinized was at my first 135 job and my first regional job. Everything since has been a just a fast flip of my printed logbook and a casual question about about a name ore two in my remarks that the interviewer and I both knew.

IMO a very neat hand written log or a printed and nicely bound e-log will attract few questions after your first job or two in the industry. A sloppy log will most likely reflect poorly on the candidate and may lead to more questioning of time and or no job offer.

Yeah I've gotten one or two "Oh, do you know so and so"s. But never, you know, uncomfortable chair, swinging naked lightbulb, calculator out and GOTCHA. Hell, I'd probably worry more about the guy whose logbook adds up perfectly...

I'll have to include my instructors names in the remarks section. Using logten pro, there's a spot to identify your instructor when logging the flight, but when you pull up the report, they're not listed.
