Living the Dream Paying back the loan

That is only to get the loan forgiven....your right, for pilots that won't happen. What does happen is that they pay for some of your federal student loan payment, I do not work for the gov't or a school and they pay almost half of my payment right now. My payment is around 200/mo, they pay almost half.

Who can use Income-Based Repayment (IBR)?


IBR is available to all student loan borrowers with federal loans who have high debt relative to their income. IBR is available for most types of federal loans made to students, but not those made to parents (click here for more information about qualifying loans).
