That's the plan! I don't know why I'm so terrified of this test. Maybe it's all the unknown or that lots of people aren't making the cut. And I really want the job and don't want to look like a fool.

No reason to be terrified! If you have put in the time studying, and looked through the multiple gouges on the intra-web you should be fine. You already have some previous turbine experience, and it will help immensely as these tests are geared toward that level of experience. The cognitive exam is like a video game, so avoid getting frustrated and have fun with the brain games. The personality test is straight forward. The dreaded Job Knowledge Exam, just remember to read through the questions carefully, and don't give up even if you feel your performance is less then par! Compass and Delta testing standards are the same, and are more then passable on any given day. Everybody I know has gotten hired with no issues, so bring a positive attitude and you will be in the cab leaving the drug testing facility heading to the airport with the offer in your hands. Also, if ya stay at the Holiday Inn, remember to get the breakfast downstairs as everybody I know including myself has had the buffet, and we have all been successful in the interview process! It is a good luck charm that has worked well for everybody! Call me superstitious, but I take what I can get. Best wishes, and good luck..
 
Strongly urge you to check out all the gouges on the internet for both compass and delta. Seems like there are some questions that everyone gets that you should be familiar with. I spent two whole weeks making a huge study guide out of the one they sent- it was a great refresher but I would have done just as we'll studying the online gouges! Like you've seen before focus on aerodynamics, systems (esp turbine engines), holding entries, and mental math (time/dist to descend, 60 to 1 rule, VDP calcs). You have the right attitude and I'm sure you'll be rewarded for it. As far as the panel interview goes- answer the question! Don't be afraid to ask them to repeat it if you lose your train of thought. Be able to make a decision and stand by it (kind of important in this line of work). Some questions I got were on the gouges (no first class meals what do you do? What will you never do In an airplane again?). But others I had never seen (FAs have to turn plane in 20 mins and refuse to do it bc they are tired WWYD? Aft lav needs to be cleaned but you'd take a 30 min delay WWYD?) good luck and don't let your nerves get the best of you! When they shake your hand after the job offer your nerves will turn around!

Is that "phase 2" of the west coast flying? Anymore city pairs rumored/planned?

LAX-MSO, LAX-BZN, LAX-HLN are all rumored.

These are all still in planning phases though, and Delta likes to change things up daily. I wouldn't put too much weight into them until day of departure.
 
Well Lax-Sea and Sfo- Sea are already loaded into Delta Net and can book on Delta.com so let the fight begin. At this point I doubt Delta cares because they are obviously doing it for a reason. Don't know what the reason is though...
