Life at Compass

should definitely leave a message. The way I understand it is that the phone number always goes straight to voicemail and they are pretty quick to respond.

Did you leave a message?
Yep, one on Monday, another today (Thurs). Every time I call it goes straight to voicemail. I've worked in a training dept before, and realize that sometimes recruiters are out of the office for job fairs and what-not. Maybe if it still doesn't work tomorrow I'll call the main Compass HDQ # and get transferred to the training department. Got a 4 day next week and I'm busy during office hrs so I kinda want to nail this down.

I thought that too. I was called back (while my phone was in airplane mode), and in their message was told to call them. I love me some phone tag!

I am sure they are swamped with all the hiring. Give it time, and the training department doesn't do the recruiting. Just follow the directions, they'll call back.

I caught them around 9am this morning. Interview set. I get having patience, but its different when I get a voice mail stating for ME to contact THEM, and nada for a week. One day I tried about 20 times. Good luck. Recruiter was nice!

Let the phone tag games begin!...

Ugghhh..

Doesnt help that I spend a majority of my weekdays on an island with no cell service during all regular business hours.

I was there. It took a while, but eventually everything came together. I know it's frustrating, but don't give up. You'll make it through.

I never received a call.. I'm trying to reach out to them.
Current 135 and ATP written complete.
Would love an opportunity to interview here.

Every hour is a bit of exaggeration. They called me, I called them back and left a message. After a couple days of phone tag, I called probably three times one day (on each turn on a trip) and got a hold of someone to get it all setup.

What can I say...I really wanted a new gig at the time.
