When they give me TAF's without 24 hour tempos of 1/4SM FG I'll start giving them accurate ATC filings.

Or Bishkek with their perpetual 1500m FU.

What the hell has been on fire for the last decade over there?

Declaring an emergency due to a bomb threat 3 months after 9/11, and a week before the Richard Reid shoe bomber incident. AA Eagle from MDHE to TJSJ on at AT42. Still remember the hair standing on end on the back of my neck.I also worked our first flight between MDHE and TJSJ, which also made Airliners.net http://www.airliners.net/photo/American-Eagle/ATR-ATR-42-300/0208388/L/

Okay...that one makes my palms sweat a little. Yikes...

@dispatchguy & @pljenkins may remember this from our RIA days. We had an MD80 charter out of EWR. While they were boarding out of the FBO there, two kids (ages 3 & 5) spoke up to the crew after they had boarded: "I've got a bomb, I've got a bomb" So they quickly deboarded the aircraft, and TSA demanded that they shut down the airport (yes, EWR). More kids joined in the chorus saying "I've got a bomb." After they searched the bags, they determined that no explosive device existed, and EWR resumed to its normal, dysfunctional state.
