I'm starting to work on building lesson plans in prep for my CFI initial. I'm wondering if anybody has come up with some formatting/layout options that have worked well for them.
I'm experimenting with using an 8.5x11 bi-fold format which would be quick to print and fold for each lesson. The layout might be something like front panel with an overview briefing and student info; middle two panels containing a teaching outline, related accident reports, common errors; and back panel formatted for in-flight instructor notes.
Wondering if anybody has come up with something similar that I could use to develop my ideas with? Or if you have any alternative lesson plan formats which have worked well for you. My hope is that the effort is more useful than just building a study binder for the CFI initial exam, but would be material I'd be compelled to actually use.
