Both of my parents are strong union workers, so I don't need a lecture about scabs and skilled tradesmen. I support unions and their objectives in the workplace. This is a non-union mine, and workers chose to keep it that way. Truck driving is not a skilled trade. Being an operator may be, but I assure you the 4 hours of training that I received does not make me a skilled tradesman. I am a Hoosier who needs a job in Indiana, so I don't feel like I am taking a job from anybody. So, yes, this job floats my boat.
