Lear 45 Batesville runway excursion

I remember reading a post accident interview awhile back (I can’t remember where), when one of the flight crew was asked “Why didn’t you go around?”. The answer was something like “I didn’t remember how to do it, and was more comfortable trying to land”. It does make you wonder.

At the very least they turn it into a "circle to land" if they are too lazy to reconfigure.
