Layover food

I say it’s Bismarck with better scenery, I think Fargo has better food that edges it above Anchorage, but that’s always been my impression.

Half block from everyone’s favorite hotel is a detox center and there always seems to be a high concentration of homeless people around the Cook so you don’t need to walk far for that.
The oil biz doesn’t make it Williston?

Seafood Pie in Limerick.

I had a seafood pie in Iceland, not quite as explicitly potato topped, and it was called a "stew" I believe in their traditional naming convention. But it was damn good. The lobster bisque my wife had at the same restaurant was even better though. Good god that was amazing. It was topped with a couple langoustines too, which are maybe one of my all-time faves.

Shotgun Willie's in Nashville. REALLY good! Michellin bib gourmand. I might catch some flack for saying this, but the Texas style brisket here is better than a lot of the brisket I've had in Texas. So Tender and flavorful. Sausage was incredible as well. All around exceptional meal.

Found a traditional Mongolian spot in SFO Chinatown not too long ago and naturally had to give it a try. Tried Tsuivan which is a national noodle dish of sorts. Sorta East Asian meets Central Asian. Next time I'll probably try some dumplings or a beef liver dish that looked interesting:
