I avoid DCA like the plague. The airport sucks and I don’t have any desire to see the propaganda banners everywhere.Kabob Palace in crystal city(?) right outside DCA if you ever get over there. open 24hr and there’s a 7-11 next door for tall boys

I hear ya, it’s sometimes unavoidable for me. but my favorite era of RJing layover, CLE DCA turns for 4 days and eating at midnight with a bunch of cab and uber drivers. place was always bumping. get the chapliI avoid DCA like the plague. Our IAD layover had a great chicken and gyro place that you have to go a quarter mile up the road or play frogger across four lanes to get to, but it’s delicious. I’m also usually the only white guy in there.
But IAD was one of the destinations we gave up to you guys out of SFO
Shish Kabob Express by our long layover out in Birmingham, MI. It's kind of divey and primarily takeout with just a couple of tables outside but the food is amazing. That looks great! Which restaurant? I seem to be going to DTW more nowadays.
