Nah, talk about what you want. I was more curious about how @Cherokee_Cruiser ended up declaring himself a combatant in a discussion of an airline he doesn't even work for. But I guess I can sift through 22 pages of forumness.

I'm not going to speak for somebody else, so I'm not naming names. I got a PM from a poster saying he appreciated my attempts to keep everyone updated on the in and out of what's going down at Eagle. He went on to say the cliquish and aggressively negative behavior that pervades even well-meaning attempts to discuss sensitive topics wore him out. He said he was bailing for APC and invited me to join him.
*shrugs*
Good god, it's Walt Disney World around here, which is fine.
He's going to find himself out-numbered, out-yelled and largely un-heard with catlike quickness at his adoptive home.

Actually, it was a long time ago. Like before you were even in the industry. So chill out about it.
And more importantly, it was two pilots. That's it. Two. JCL and BB. The rest of the MEC wasn't even involved, let alone the pilot group.
But even more importantly, that wasn't the reason given by the arrogant a-holes who dismissed the idea of helping the CMR pilots. It was all about how superior the Delta pilot group is, how superior their hiring process is, how superior their education is, etc. It was disgusting to listen to. Took everything in me not to flush my ALPA pin down the toilet after hearing these union reps of all people talk like this.
That may be, but it certainly doesn't mean this place isn't in need of some serious work in the respectfully disagree and namecalling department. Improvement is a constant thing.

Then why weren't those MEC officers recalled? Why didn't the LEC Reps introduce resolutions repealing that letter?
The Comair Pilots were hoping the flying would be reassigned to them in bankruptcy.
Of course they can't give the real reason which is the one I outlined above.

Probably because they had more important things to worry about. I thought JC and BB were completely out of line with how they handled the situation, but I wouldn't have recalled them. It was something that should have been addressed behind closed doors, and for all you know, it was.
Of course they could. These were conversations they were having with their own EVP.
