My biggest beef is we were talking temporary (or they made it seem that way) wage cuts to give them some breathing room. Now, they're saying the cuts "must be permanent." Well, sounds to me like they need to re-do the operation, then. If all the labor groups have to go back to wages from 13-14 years ago (which is where a 5% pay cut would put most of the pilots AND the FAs), then we should just close our doors. ExpressJet, Skywest, Republic and everyone else seem to be able to do okay with wages above that level. If we're the only ones that can't, we're broken beyond repair, and wage concessions wouldn't have kept us out of CH 11 anyway.
If they wanted to unite all three pilot groups against management on the issue, I'd say they're doing an excellent job.
