King Air 100

In all fairness, I also flew the B100 for a while. It was 18 knots faster and used a little less fuel. The only trade off was an 68% reduction in dispatch reliability and 40% increase in maintenance costs.

Yeah, it's easier to wear out the brakes when the engines actually start so you can fly a second leg. ;)
Last time I checked the pt6 has the most pilot interaction on the start. Turn the knob to "start" is all I do, and it starts every time, with no gpu.

I just left a A100 Gig. other than it being a pig and slow its typical beechcraft it doesnt care about ICE I flew it through a ton and it just keeps smiling just pop the boots and it does fine! No real quirks to the pratts they are what they are! The lack of mechanical trim.

Enjoy your new gig, Ed is a great guy.

It's definitely important to have mechanics with a triple digit IQ if you're flying a TPE...course I prefer to be around the intelligentsia anyway...
holy mother of monkeys yes! I consider myself a step above your average knuckledragging greasemonkey but when I first popped the cowling on our new Garret equipped Caravan I felt like Fred freaking Flintstone.
