Just started the process...

Was told to call this USMC recruiter, tried a few time but bad timing so finally told a guy there to pass a message to give me a call back.

NAVY called me asking for various info to make sure I'm eligible and told me to call one of their recruiters, gotta do that this week.

Good stuff man. I'm going to start contacting Guard/Reserve units when I get back from vacation. Though Marine aviation is appealing as well.

No such thing....doesn't exhist!;):D It's Naval Aviation; whether it be a a USMC AV-8B or a USN E-2C. Of course one is harder to get than the other. Just remember that the Marine officer's coming out of the Naval Academy and ROTC get first dibs and a majority of the pilot slots; and OCS gets the remaining few. And a Marine is always infantry first and foremost before ones designated proffesion. As I told AJ; some of the non flying billets are FACs (Forward Air Controllers) with ground units, calling in air strikes and close air support.

Kudos on making that step Ajdin, however, if I may add my 2 cents, I think you should consider Air Force before everything else if you want to fly.

Just got my app. Time to start working on that motivational statement and getting those references out. Not bad really. I might even try the May OCS class but most likely in October.
