Job Ideas?

Work in the terminal, you pretty much just sit there and go on the interwebz.

Or at TiresPlus if you have any sort of mechanical knowage, a few avit students work there, great bunch of guys. They're hiring last time i checked in mid dec.

I'm doing that right now. Regional Elite is hiring and there's a desk here at the parking lot. Republic Parking is good for now though. I can get you on the list if you want.

My son has applied with Regional Elite but has heard nothing. Are they REALLY hiring?

Welcome to Grand Forks, just wait for the telegram to find out. :rotfl:

Seriously though, why not tell your son to give them a call? That seems to be the only way to get a job these days.

If you're still looking for a job, there's plenty of stuff on-campus. We're hiring swim teachers for the morning shift this summer at the campus pool; experience teaching and working with kids is fantastic for aerospace scholarships and differentiates you from everyone else at UND who has nothing but planes, planes, planes on their resume--I'm thinking about the recent poster asking for folks to review his resume who even listed his VATSIM experience as one of his desirable characteristics... :p

Best job I ever had was Dietrich's Bus Service. They are always hiring and if you can drive a bus you can drive a plane. I didn't mind getting up early either for it. They are super flexible with schedules too. If you want to drive you just call them and they'll find some work. If you can't drive then you tell them you can't, no biggie. I met quite a few girls doing the drunk buses too. :)
