Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good places to apply in Grand Forks? I have finally decided to just bite the bullet and fight my way through 102 and go from there.

I worked at Dispatch/Flight Ops. for 4 years. Easiest job I've ever had, but it might be a bitch now with all the foreign students up there?!

Work in the terminal, you pretty much just sit there and go on the interwebz.

Or at TiresPlus if you have any sort of mechanical knowage, a few avit students work there, great bunch of guys. They're hiring last time i checked in mid dec.

I have heard about the terminal. How/where do you apply there?

I used to do pseudo pilot stuff over at the ATC lab. I dont know if they still run that program over there but I would sit in the lab and move the planes around on a computer screen all day. Easy job if you ask me.

I did this for a semester. It was easy money. After getting good at it you would know the scripts and you could drink coffee and do the crossword puzzle while working. Kinda like flying.

bartend or deal blackjack. the only two jobs that make any money in grand forks.

for obvious reasons.

Yeah only jobs equal the only thing to do as well, drown your sorrow of being stuck in North Dakota and get "slightly" inebriated. I know someone who bartends who brings like 120 a night just in tips. Well 2 1/2 months until I am 21, then I will try and get a job as a bartender I spose.

id try for dealing blackjack first. youll make more money, its easier, and its actually kinda fun. i mean youre playin cards, pretty easy stuff.

definitely if youre a social person youll get 'regulars' who come to play/BS with ya.

Myself and some friends have looked into dealing Blackjack here, and they've all said you have to pretty much wait for a current dealer to die. Either that or be good friends with someone that is already in the business.

What kind of work do you do at the terminal? Like ticket agent stuff?

Flight Instructor

I have wrote an email to Sheri Sponsler, enquiring about F.I. vacancy in UND. Till now, there's no respond from Sheri and/or Kelly.

I wonder UND requires F.I.?

If yes, does UND requires foreign language proficiency for F.I.?
