Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Two (2) years Dispatch experience
• Two (2) years JetBlue SOC experience

That isn't neccessarily an internal only posting, but a qualification like that indicates a very strong preference for internals.

Internal preferred but they might take a mix

They will take up to 8. For the external candidates the ones that shine at the top will get in (most likely 2-3) and the rest for internals.

AFAIK HR still processing, names should be getting to the managers desk this week for interview selection.

Alrighty here is the latest. Around 235 or so applicants internal and external. Interviews beginning today (7 today) for round 1. Round 2 is technical questions, etc.

25 internal, 10 external to be interviewed so to those external congrats on making it this far.

New headcount now is 9 total so I would guess 2-3 external

I received an invite for the round 2 technical interview later next week and was wondering what are some good sources to review dispatch knowledge that they might ask during the interview. I currently have the ASA Aircraft Dispatchers Oral Exam Guide and also the ASA Air Carrier Operations book. Seems like there is so much potential material that could be asked during the interview and trying to narrow down what I need to know.

Most of the airline interviews I've done (admittedly not JetBlue, so can't say specifically for them) were heavily focused around regs so the FAR/FC unless you have an abbreviated source from your dispatch school.

ASA is good but maybe a bit too comprehensive if you try and study all of it. I've never been asked about K index values for example...
