JetBlue hires violent felon as a pilot

And I don’t care about your anecdotes, I care about right and wrong. It’s wrong to punish someone whose sentence is over.
This might just be the only thing that you have posted that I agree with!

And since we’re on the same page with this, let me clarify for you;
This felon’s confinement is over, his SENTENCE runs until 2045! And since his sentence is ongoing, he shouldn’t be a pilot that carries ANYONE for pay.

Glad we agree…………:)

That’s rich, coming from someone who holds/tells people that an eviction is lifelong. Gimme a • break…

As usual, you’re wrong. We gladly rent to anyone who has an eviction on their record…as long as they’ve paid their debt.

I try to imagine what it must be like to be such a heartless bastard that you revel in the thought of punishing someone even after they’ve served their time, but thankfully, I have enough empathy to not even be able to imagine that. I pity you.

Scary. After Colgan and Atlas, I don’t care for 3+ failures getting into airlines.

Sorry, not sorry.

People sometimes forget, this isn’t unicorn and rainbows. Yeah, it’s a career. But peoples’ lives are on the line. It’s my personal opinion that Atlas and Colgan could have been prevented, if the right people were empowered and these now-deceased pilots were forced long ago to give up their wings and go find a new line of work. They’d still be alive today along with dozens of other innocent people. Fact.
I could agree with this IF pilot evaluation didn’t seem to be so open to the possibility of shenanigans, or lack oversight and standardization. Specifically at the primary training stage.

You STILL are missing the point; he hasn’t “served his time”. His time isn't done serving until 2045! Until THEN……….

I didn’t hand down the sentence, but thank you for thinking that I had the power to do so!

And he’s gone

Do you have a minimum credit rating that you use to determine whether an individual (without a co-signer) can be granted a lease? If not I certainly wouldn't allow you to mange my properties. Yes, plural, but I inherited them and it's all commercial real estate not residential.

• happens to good people. Bad credit, a credible story, and triple deposit and I’m very forgiving

I don’t disagree but the hiring departments apparently do. I was merely pointing out that with time the three failure and your out has gone by the wayside

If you think that probation counts as “serving time,” then we certainly aren’t ever going to agree.

No, we just charge higher fees and deposits for lower credit scores.

Oh sweetie, it would be a no from me, anyway. You would be a terrible client.
